Hey all,
Hit jurien with Dazsam,Samc,Johnf,Schecky and headed out with Whitey this week hoping to get my first dollie,first cast on the placcy and got hoovered on the drop. After a aerial display my fish went deep and Daz and Sam c had there fish boated in a couple of minutes.As to be expected there was fair bit of heckling about my lack of ability to turn the head of what was apparantly another 3 or 4kg dollie from the boys but i kept plugging away after 10minutes on 6kg gear a solid early season bull surfaced and stubbornly made its way into the net.Just as we got the fish onboard the 20lb fluro leader gave way so was not a second too soon.After a few quick pics i sent him back to do his thing.All the boys ended up with at least one dollie and there was a good variety of species taken on jig which im sure some photos will surface in due time.

March is when the Fads start to get good in Perth. From then on the fish are at least legal size. Really the best month is the last though, just depends on if the current is still running down the coast, or out wide.
