Caught these two Salmon last weekend. Sorry about the delay as the photographer works mines and I have just recieved the photos.

We got to the beach about 0600 (a beach near Point Peron)>how good does it look and all I had for bait was one Garfish. Snapped him in half as I forgot to take a knife. Apperently knives are integral with fishing, but not as integral as rods, bait etc. Anyway, after 5 minutes, I was on, then in a procession one after another, we were all on.

I am always tentative with the first fish of the day and took my time. He went for a few runs, and was seen leaping about a dozen times. Looked spectacular.

Finally got him landed and I used the other half of my garfish to bait up and back out again. I usually fish for sand whiting to use as bait, but limited luck.

Caught another salmon approx 30 minutes later, wasn't as carefull with this one and skull dragged him straight up the beach. Good morning had by all, everyone caught as least one salmon. Cooked one up the next night in spicy flour. Superb
