where was that caught ,im moveing to vic in a couple of weeks keen to start fishing around portland as theres some big snapper around there!hope i get into some!
It was caught at place called black fellows caves which is just west of Port MacDonnell.
Hey Ben, You'll love portland as there is heaps of options from snapper, kingfish and tuna not far off shore. Just east of portland is place known as Narrawong if you sit just behind the breakers there you can get big gummy sharks and huge snapper and crays.

mate if moving to portland i wouldnt be worried about the snapper atm the place has some huge numbers of bluefin tuna many over 100kg
