The flesh is very soft. I found that out today when the whole fish fell apart in the pan. Looked like a train wreck.
The trout wasn't that tasty, buteating a dozen oysters and a bag of cray legs afterwards made it all better. $13 for a decent bag of jumbo cray legs, I'm glad I bought 2 haha.

Nice Fish. whats the deal at Golden Ponds? How much do they charge to fish at their ponds.
Do they charge an hourly rate and $ per Kilo of fish Caught?
I Haven't fished private ponds for years.
I have caught trout down south before and they taste great, Pond fish would'nt be as good as river fish.
Anyway sounds like you had a great day and good feed.

these fish taste like mud. C&R is way to go. $10 day to fish and I think to keep fish it's $14/kg. Not a bad outing when weather is crap and u need a fishin buzz. Located off Mundijong road

sounds like it could be worth paying a visit just to get the cray legs and the oysters. and just go and c&r all the fish
