Caught these pair a few years ago now at a place called Green Point. (not far from Pt MacDonnell)

Do you catch many snapper from the beach in SA?

We used to get quite a few during summer and autumn especially when the water was dirty. Most of them were usually around the 35-45cm but you get a few good ones as well if you persevere.
