Lovely day out there wasn't

Lovely day out there wasn't it Dean? Nice catch, never seen a "pig fish" before.

I went out with my wife yesterday and didn't get past Staggies at Mindarie. There was a huge (and I mean huge) mixed school of salmon, bonito and bluefin busting up all over. We kept one big (about 1200mm) bluefin and a few bonito for bait, threw back all th salmon. The salmon were that thick that they were coming up to hit stationary lures and hooking up before we even got the boat into gear for trolling.

We had to be back in by lunch, but it was a pretty special day.
