Stevo- I bought the 45L one a month back. my ice was good for 4 days! probably the best thing is they have easy to use heavy duty rubber latches which makes opening and closing a piece of piss, plus there are heaps of accessories as you can see on their website. The tie down points are great. As you would expect with the yanks, its claimed as being grizzly bear proof!
I was having a read through the user instruction the other day, and it actually said you should NOT to drain water from the esky as it actually has the reverse effect on the ice. This goes against the way I’ve always used eskies, my understanding is that the water only melts what’s left of your ice??
I wasn’t planning on spending $335 on a 45L esky, but there was bugger all else to choose from at the store I purchased it from and I needed a quick fix. Glad I did now.
