xd100 etec oil

i used to get my xd100 etec oil in 20ltr drums at a real good price,
my supplier has shut up shop now and i need to source the oil else where, wether it be in 20's or the 4ltr im not fussed.
anybody know the cheapest place that sells the etec xd100 oil??? i would still buy 20ltrs at a time.

Had really cheap four litre Bottles Ron. If your up there it would be worth getting hold of some. I think I might get a mate to bring it down for me. I am also on the lookout in the southwest region as I am now looking at paying $15 more for the same 4 litre Pak. . Same as Filters, gear oil etc, we are paying a big price here in Oz. Check the filter price on Amazon book sales and see what they are worth to buy in the states, its bullsh%t anyway!... cheers nev

spewin mate, i was in carnavon on the weekend, spent the night there in my truck, i could of brought a bit back.
$60-$70 for the 3.7ltr here in perth is the best i can find, i was getting 2x20ltr for $370, i got 2x20ltr on the last go but obviously was a while ago and now he has shut shop.
i got 2ltr left and im getting nervous...!!! gotta find it cheaper somewhere.

changing it to the TC-3 setting? Had guys in Canarvon this year doing that and buying a canadian oil at trade price . It was well over 50% cheaper. The company operates in Welshpool I think.. cheers

oil use rate
G'Day
Im considering buying a 23' glass boat with a 225hp e-tec, I dont have any experience with these engines or any 2stroke for that matter. I was hoping someone would be able to indicate roughly how much oil an engine of this size would use "typically" in 100hrs or typical operation. I've looked around and people say it doesnt use much, just wondering how much is not much....

100 litres of fuel will use 1 litre of oil, =100-1
on a big day for us it would be nearly a litre of oil per day as we are using 80-100litres, this is on a 200,pushing a 6.5mtr glass boat

in the 10 or so hours ive put on it, it has barely used any and ive been loving going balls out (after coming from a 60hp). My worry is ill eventually forget to check the oil and run out (in like 6 months time). So taking small container of oil out with me.
