Complete waste of time going

Sat, 2013-11-30 10:47

Complete waste of time going to the wrecks I am afraid......a real shame, but that is how it is. Agree with Troy, there must be hundreds of sharks down there based on recent experience....

Things have changed massively in 3 years.....in 2009, on a hot summers day in between a hot amberjack jigging session, me and Chrisp went for a swim off the back of the boat at the North Barge (Norwhale).......you would have to be a brave man to do that now.

You were brave to do it back

You were brave to do it back then. I've seen some massive makos at the barges over the years.

Bloody stupid more like it.....I shudder to think of the nasties lurking below where we were swimming now........

Yeah, agree Troy, only went to the barges last week as all our inshore spots had cleared out......they do move a lot.

Classic example of not answering a question

Wallacewt asks for links to wreck sites around rotto, didn't say he was going to fish them. Everybody jumps on his case about sharks? Vety helpful

 The very first response

Sat, 2013-11-30 13:04

The very first response provided the co-ordinates. Further, given the nature of this board, it isn't too much of a stretch to assume he was probably going to fish the wrecks. Also, the responses may have saved him $250 in fuel and lost tackle. He doesn't have to accept the advice of course.
