spanish mackeral rigs

hey was just wondering if anyone had any info on how to make your own mackie rigs. going to kalbarri and really keen to give it a crack the catch one for chissy haha. any info would be helpful cheers

Treble and three no 9s or 10s hooks

49 strand wire in to h/single strand wire

And space hooks out to the sizes of the bait

Overhead  reel and about 600m of line  500m braid 100m of mono top shot

And a Land Game Rod

yea got the fin nor os9500 spooled with 65lb braid and  penn power stick stood up to the test many a times. wat lb wire do you use how long and baits

1.5m of 180lb single strand down to a swivel.  To snell your hooks use 49strand I can't remeber what poundage I use but thats the business end so I think 180lb+

ok sweet wats the go with using a stinger hook as well does it matter or is it just preferance. wat do yous use for bait . herring taylor, big snook or something

I snell with wire 3 10/0 hooks and a 4/0 treble as the stinger. Gardies are the best but Taylor, mullet, snook , small tuna and bonito also are good.
