hey guys heading up north with my girl in few weeks just trying to figure out where to go as we are fishing landbased only, we will be fishing 24/7 so what u all reckon

start north at quobba- baloon / spin for pelagics.... there have been reports of lots of macks hooked but very few landed (sharks thick in numbers)..... decent small longtail tuna have been caught also. some of the rock platforms are not for the faint hearted.... also make sure u have a cliff gaff.... no chance in landing a pelagic without.

 

the jjetty in canarvon is also worth a crack and definitely the friendlier option if your missus is coming along and she isnt used to scambling along cliffs.

 

Kalbarri has plenty of options- fish chinamens point for tailor / mullas same same for the beaches south to where the cliffs start. Off the cliffs there should be plenty of snapper around, but you have to work to land them, they are dirty fighters.

if u have time do all your options, quobba the best

carnarvon is imo only a short one - the jetty on sundown for mullO s

keep your car locked and in view there ;)
