I have heard it said that fish come in cycles through the years.
Personally , having only been chasing demersals offshore for 3-4 years (metro to 2 rox) , I can say that I've caught dhueys most often.
So in order of frequency caught - my list would go
1 - dhueys
2 - BB
3 - baldie's
4 - size pinkies (tons of small ones)
5 - Queeny's
(list doesn't include shit fish)
Do others concur? Also, what used to be the most likely caught and how many years ago?

I tend to agree although I dont go chasing snapper in the sound and have only boated 1 good sized metro pinkie and zero queen snapper. Plenty of Dhu's baldies and blackass

i went out of Mindarie on Saturday and monday of the long weekend and it was Dhufish, bakers, then bb, king george then baldies but Dhuies were easily the most frequent. took a nice one home both days (nice for the freezer!!).. cheers

With the latter coming from what I consider to be virgin territory = 54cm on Monday which was called for a dhuie all the way up
