Depends if your chasing over
Depends if your chasing over head or spin? If looking at spin then the Penn Spinnfisher 950 are worth a look aswell as Fin Nor Offshore S85 or S95.
If looking looking for a over head thena Shimano Tyrnos 30 would probably suit.

Penn Spinfisher 850 or 950.
Penn Spinfisher 850 or 950. Depends what you mean by cheap though, some people think a $300 reel is cheap & might recommend something more pricey.
Just because I smile & nod does not mean I believe the crap coming out of your mouth.
All people have the right to stupidity but some abuse the privilege.

senator
get yourself a penn senator or tld, even better a tyrnos and fill it with 50-80lb braid. a short stroker rod will be fine if your paddling ya baits out

Check Gumtree
There is an Old Penn Senator 6/0 game fishing reel with matching game rod with full Aftco roller guides listed for $80.
Plenty of change for terminal tackle

I have one of them, they go well and are also priced pretty well. My other LBG reel is a penn international 30tw bullet proof game fishing reel but feels like it weighs 2 kilos lol. you will never need the low gear on the 2 speed tld50 IMO
