Abrohlos trip 22rd to 25 th

Looking at this stage to be heading over for 4 days still weather dependant , long range forecast is looking ok at this stage . I was thinking about staying around gun island this time has any one moored around there before. Looks deep enough on the charts to get in pretty close for some shelter from the sw winds. Any body else heading over around then?
the deckies are getting excited now they even bought some trophies for biggest dhui and biggest snapper

looks like a good spot to spend a night or 2, probally stay the first night in my normal spot then head over that side

yeah good sandy bottom on the
yeah good sandy bottom on the north side of the guano jetty.
There is some shallow patches as you come in from the east though.
Also exposed to east/noreast breeze in the morning but it is good holding
Can tie a line to the rocks and one anchor then climb off without getting wet.
May be over there as well but probably a couple of days after you.

i wanted to go later
in the week but all the long range forcasts are saying a strong front coming through 29 /30th ,i have the week off so i can pick the best days when its closer however 1 deckie is availble all week the other is only availble the first dates or eles his son will have to come instead later in the week
