5 bouys off cott

Hey fellas,
Just wondering if anyone knows what those 5 bouys in the water off cott are? They're about half a kilometre out and looks like some sort of monitoring station.. been there for a week or so now and just curious

Are they yellow? If so they could be shark monitoring devices. Up and down the coast everywhere.

Yup! Wave station set up by UWA to help with better coastal margin hydro model.
mainly to get more info for the Cott beach pool :)
The real time n predictive wave modeling is pretty cool if you ca wrap ur head around it.
