I am lucky to need a bucket to bring my catch home.. In fact im lucky to even have anytihng in the bucket going home..lol
Most of my fishing is catch and release anyway. :) Well mostly my fishing comprises of me trying to catch something other than weed/rocks/reef. Anything other than those three, its a bonus fishing day for me.. :)
Hi glen, i remember when that turned up , mum took me down to see it out the front of perth museum, think it was 1988 so i would have been six, at the time i didnt know what the fuss was about!
What are your views on the killing of the catch for to get it on the record books.?? Do you think there should be a way to measure, weigh, and record this catch without killing it for the record purposes.??
What a monster catch. The animal was prob stuffed after such a long fight, yet again I ain't no shark fisho so I don't know how it would go being released.

Megamouth
What an amazing animal! Could have done without all the sensationalist comments, but the fish is a ripper.
Speaking of big sharks - After years of treatment, tomorrow we do our final weigh-in of Megamouth. If you are interested, there's some details here

and the whole story of this fish at http://museum.wa.gov.au/megamouth/
